Cruising Catamaran (ASA 114) Weekend Class

 (9AM Saturday to 5PM Sunday)

An advanced weekend course for those who want to lean the nuances of multihulls, but are limited on time.  Bareboat Charter certification or equivalent experience is a prerequisite.  The course is taught on one of our beautiful catamarans and is geared to the bareboat charter skipper who wants the added skills to charter multihulls between 30 and 50 feet.  Please be sure to bring your own bedding and food for the course.

There will be both a written and a skills test to complete the course.  Thorough study of your "Multihull Fundamentals" text will prepare you for your course and greatly enhance your learning experience.  The Cruising Catamaran (CC) curriculum (link below) is helpful to follow while reviewing the text and will streamline your studying.

Tuition: $495
ASA Certification (optional): $20
Prerequisite:  Bareboat Charter (ASA 104) certification or equivalent experience.
Textbook (price includes shipping): Multihull Fundamentals, by Rick White ($20, includes shipping)
Course Dates (all weekend classes occur on Saturday-Sunday):

April 24 - 25, 2009

June 26 - 27, 2009

August 28 - 29, 2009

Please call or e-mail for additional date options.

Please contact San Juan Sailing School at school@sanjuansailing.com or 1-800-677-7245 to register for your course and to confirm course date availability.

**Please bring sleeping bag, pillow and food for the weekend.  A full galley, including refrigerator, stove, and barbeque, is available for your use onboard.  If you would like to preboard on Friday, there is an additional $10 fee.  Please let us know at least 2 weeks in advance so we have the boat ready for you!  NOTE:  This is a non-smoking course.
