Air Travel Information

(updated January 2009)

Many of our charter guests ask us which airport is best for them to fly into for their charter or class.  The three most likely options are:

1.  SeaTac International Airport (SEA):  SeaTac is located between Seattle and Tacoma, 100 miles south of Bellingham.  It is the most common airport chosen by our customers because many flights daily are available through most airlines, from all over the country.  To connect between SeaTac and Bellingham you have the choice of rental car, airport shuttle and, by the end of 2009, train.  Click here for information on connecting to Bellingham from Seattle.

2.  Vancouver International Airport (YVR):  You may find cheaper flights into Vancouver International Airport.  Located 50 miles from Bellingham, shuttle service is offered between YVR and the Bellingham International Airport (BLI) through Quick Shuttle (www.quickcoach.com, 1-800-665-2122).  You will need a passport to fly into YVR and to clear into the US on the Quick Shuttle.

3.  Bellingham International Airport (BLI):  Both Alaska/Horizon Air (www.alaskaair.com) and Allegiant Air (www.allegiantair.com) fly directly into Bellingham International Airport.  BLI is located 3.7 miles, or a quick ten-minute cab ride, from our office.
